What’s the story?
This photographic project, created for Moevir Paris, explores the theme of asphyxia, not in its literal, physical sense, but as a metaphor for the invisible suffocations we endure in daily life. It reflects the weight of feeling trapped: in places that no longer feel like home, in thoughts that spiral endlessly, in routines that quietly consume us.
The images translate this inner tension into visual form, balancing fragility and resistance. They capture moments where beauty collides with discomfort, where silence becomes heavy, and where identity struggles to expand beyond the invisible walls that surround it.
Ultimately, the project questions: What does it mean to breathe freely? By confronting the constraints of mind, body, and environment, it invites the viewer to recognize their own spaces of suffocation and to imagine the possibility of release.
